DREW LOVE-JONES Following my critique of chapter one of his work in progress
"Doubt is probably the biggest obstacle to the aspiring writer. Will people like it enough to read it? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is it worthy of publication? These thoughts and many others were getting in the way of creating my story for young adults. Asking Emma to critique my first chapter was possibly the best investment I could possibly have made. She has set my mind to rest and given my confidence a huge boost. She did not pull any punches either and told me exactly where the problem areas were and made some very useful suggestions about improving them. Would I recommend Emma? Silly question: It's a given."
